Active Stabilised Weapon System Mount for Surface Platforms

For surface platforms, we meet special needs that conventional gun mounts at the lower level, and remote-controlled gun turrets at the higher level cannot meet, through innovative solutions.

The Active Stabilised Gun Mount (ASGM) is a crew-served system that stabilises the M2 QCB gun on various platforms. It enhances targeting performance by making corrective movements in the event of disturbances from the platform with its integral servo actuators and motion detection sensors. The system’s targeted firing capabilities are provided by the control unit and its distance sensing, ballistic calculation and operator interaction modules. 

The system, developed especially for use at medium and close ranges against asymmetrical threats against naval platforms, provides maximum agility to the weapon system under the control of the operator.
